Six Sentence Sunday

Happy September everyone! I know both the Laundry Hag and I have been MIA lately but I'm back with some awesome news!  B Cubed Book One: Born in now available! This is such a cool world, and I'm not just saying that because I made it up!

The steam from the spring rose up, swathing him in an ethereal halo, as if the rest of the world faded away while he looked at her. His gaze slid downward. Her heart thumped inside her chest. She could feel the intensity of his stare on her naked flesh and it made her burn.
“So this is why the Borns are always so clean. I often wondered how you could stand washing in buckets of cold water so often.”

Six Sentence Sunday No Limits

New cover, new six from No Limits. Click the cover to preorder from Amazon!

Rhys let his conscious mind drift, so not to dwell on the

discomfort. Even though his body was trapped light years away,

twinges from his physical self produced a phantom pain that

resounded in his empathic essence.
How long had it been? With no way to mark the passage of time, he couldn’t even begin to guess. He missed the vivid colors of fresh green and growing things, the salty taste of the stew his brothers had eaten nightly, the coarse textures of the robes they wore while in training. Other sensations seemed even dimmer, barely within his grasp.

Footsteps seemed in sync with her heartbeat, a sharp click accompanying every thud against her ribcage. His massive frame filled the doorway, his features cloaked in shadow. Dressed in tailored charcoal slacks and a cobalt blue shirt, he carried a large bag, which he set down inside the door. He straightened and shut the door behind him. Though it was forbidden to address him first, Abby couldn’t help herself. It had been too long.

Six Sunday

Another week, another new Jenna  ebook just released for Kindle and Nook. This one is not sci-fi but it is short and dirty, just the way I like 'em!

Will was close to exploding in his pants like some prepubescent boy watching his first Jenna Jamison flick. Only he sat across the table from his fantasy, and the taste of her gorgeous sex still coated his tongue. He studied her. She ate tiny bites of the food he’d provided, and something twisted inside his chest. He needed to bury his hungry cock inside her, but he’d fucked up enough with her and he remained determined to make amends.
“Would you like a glass of wine?” she offered.

Available now for Kindle and Nook.

Six Sentence Sunday: The Ranking

This week's snippet comes from my new .99 cent ebook,The Ranking. Be warned, it's  M/M erotica w/o a happily ever after. But Duffy's story needs to be told.

“Do you know why the ranking is so important in our culture?”

Stattend’s hands trembled as he reached for his belt buckle. “For power and protection, and to know where one fits in society.”
Duffy shook his head and watched through lowered lids as Stattend coated himself with the ceremonial oil. “That’s only why the results of the ceremony are important. But the first time is to teach men what it’s like to be women, to receive another within your own body, to know what it feels like to be at the mercy of one who could harm you."

Six Sentence Sunday B Cubed 3rd installment

Feels like forever since I last posted. Okay, back to B Cubed Book Two: Bred. When last we left Rothguard, he'd just witnessed his good buddy Isaac's death at the hands of the Borns he was created  to protect. What does the cruel hand of fate have in store for him now?

The Task Master’s dark eyes gleamed with an unholy light. “You have been chosen by the Overlord’s wife, Bred. Feel honored.”

Dread pooled in his stomach. “Chosen for what?”

The Task Master just shoved him forward, laughing all the while.

Post Rapture Six Sentence Sunday

In honor of the rapture, this week's selection is from my post apocalyptic story B Cubed. Book 2: Bred. Hope you are around to read it!;-)
Rothguard looked over his shoulder, just in time to see another of the riders dismount and draw a wicked looking blade. Isaac opened his mouth but the man slit his throat before he could even beg for his life. Blood sprayed as his friend fell forward, his clothing licked by the hungry flames. Rothguard struggled, but the guard knocked him over the head. Tears pricking behind his eyes as he thought of Isacc’s Only One who waited for her mate’s return. Would they even tell her what happened here or would she be forced to go on, wondering why he had abandoned her?

Six Sentence Sunday

Fresh off the presses, this is from my latest WIP NO MERCY. Zan the Space Pirate has gotten himself into a sticky situation. Though Gia can't stand him she's agreed to help him out of his predicament. And his pants.

“Look all you want, I ain’t exactly shy.”
Since he’d offered, Gia raised her gaze. She’d pretty much nailed it by calling him big man. He didn’t just have a trouser snake, he’d captured the mother anaconda. “Really? This situation does it for you?”
He had the audacity to shrug. “Men are easy.”

Six Sentence Sunday

Nothing says Easter like a little post apocalyptic Sci-fi romance, eh?

From The B Cubed Trilogy Book 2: Bred

Isaac opened his mouth to respond but the pounding of hoof beats overpowered the stillness of the night. The two breds turned to see a host of mounted men swarming around a gleaming white carriage. As was customary, both breds fell to their bellies making themselves as unobtrusive as possible so no fine born lady would be forced to look upon them.

“You two there,” one of the riders called out. “Rise to your knees!”
Rothguard and Isaac exchanged worried glances at the unusual command.

Six Sentence Sunday

This week's  six sentence Sunday offering comes from my WIP B Cubed.  Its a sci-fi romance trilogy. This is from book 1, BORN.

Usually, I float over the scorched landscape, the one great supercontinent surrounded by the two polar oceans. I see the piles of bleached bones on the light side, they span for miles, stretching back through time. Then, I find the survivors. They live in small clusters, the born colonies as they call themselves. They are the descendants of those that did believe the prophesy and went deep underground. The bred do all the work though, people grown like crops.

Six Sentence Sunday Excerpt from NO LIMITS!

“Rhys?” Gen peeked around the door and scanned the cabin. Was she doing the typical idiotic film broad shtick, getting in the hero’s way at a critical moment? Probably, but who said he got to be the hero of this piece anyhow? He was the fracking body snatcher!

How had he taken over Marshal? Even though he had done almost the same thing to her hours earlier, she would have thought that Marshal would have erected some kind of defense against the invasion, since he was an empath.
